JDA Promo was founded almost 40 years ago on the principle “If you work hard every day, good things will happen”. With this goal in mind, JDA Promotional Solutions works hard every day to provide companies with branded products that will increase sales, workplace safety, employee wellness, loyalty, and brand recognition. Through our custom programs and products, we desire to help our customers achieve their goals to improve their business. If you grow, we grow.

Our History

Junior Davis & Associates, Inc. (JDA Promo) was established by William A. Davis, Jr. (Junior) in 1979 out of a desire to build his own business, be his own boss and take care of his family. Working out of the trunk of his car with just one catalog, Junior embarked on a journey becoming a distributor of specialty advertising/promotional products.

After over 30 years of building a successful business, Junior retired.  Now two of his daughters, Kelly Vandiver and Gena Mueller, own and run the company.  With over 35 years of combined industry experience, they are continuing the growth and success their father began.  One recent part of this effort is JDA Promo’s WBENC certification as a woman owned and operated business.

In-House Operations = Excellent Customer Service

At JDA Promo we sell anything you can put a logo on that doesn’t have to be professionally installed. Our model is unique compared to most distributors. By having 2 in-house graphic artists and on site screen printing, embroidery and thermo seal we are able to fill our customer orders within 10 working days as compared to 3 to 4 weeks in the industry.

Kelly Vandiver, BASI

Co-Owner & President

With a degree in Accounting and an MBA, Kelly spent 5 years in healthcare strategic planning before her dad, Junior Davis, gave her the opportunity to join his company as the Operations Manager. That was in 1997 and since then she has moved from daily operations to the CFO position before her dad’s retirement in 2013. In 2014 she became the President of JDA Promotional Solutions where she is using her strategic planning, administrative and organizational skills. Kelly and her husband Bill live in Hoover and have two beautiful daughters, Abby and Hannah.


Gena Davis Mueller, BASI

Co-Owner & Vice-President

Gena began working with the company over 25 years ago gaining experience in many aspects of the business. For the past 16 years, her focus has shifted to growing sales in key accounts. Now as Co-Owner, she continues her work on program development, client relations, and business management. She received her Bachelors of Advertising Specialty Information from the Advertising Specialty Institute in the fall of 2015 and in 2020 received her CAS Certification from the PPAI. In her free time, Gena’s passion is mentoring young women that are going through hardships in their lives. Gena and her husband Nate live in Birmingham and have two wonderful children, Maddie and Grayson.
