This year JDA marked our 40th anniversary with big news…we moved! Over the past two years, we experienced unprecedented growth, and Co-owners Gena Mueller and Kelly Vandiver realized that we’d outgrown the building we’d been in for over 20 years. After a lot of prayer and planning, we purchased a building just down the street from our old office, and renovated it to create a space that we can call home for many years to come.
We also want to thank Cottage Supply Company for doing an incredible job on the renovation! Thanks to the hard work of so many people, we created more production space and a better work flow for our staff and customers.
If you have ever moved from one house to another then you feel our pain. We had been at 2041 Oak Mountain Drive for 20 years. It was our dad’s baby. He was so proud and loved that building but with exponential growth we knew we needed additional square feet. We worked on this project for over a year but at the end it was a big push. We moved all of our screen printing and embroidery equipment on Friday and by Monday we were running jobs. It really was unbelievable. The production and systems manager, Nate Mueller was instrumental in making all of that happen. The flow of this building is such an upgrade. We are all so grateful that God afforded us this opportunity!

Now for the best part…a photo tour of our new building!
We repainted the exterior and added a custom awning and signage at the entry. The move also allowed us to create additional parking spaces, and we now have a loading dock for freight deliveries!
Separate Showroom and Conference Rooms:
If you ever visited our old building, you may remember that one room housed both our showroom and our conference room. In our new facility, we created a large private conference room for meetings, and a beautiful open concept showroom with easy-to-navigate custom displays.
Increased Office Space:
We added private office spaces for our office staff, including our purchasing, customer service, accounting and graphic design departments.
Our in-house embroidery and thermoseal department now have more dedicated space for sorting, special packaging and production.
As your business grows, so do we…so we added another screen printing press to amp up our production capabilities!
Warehouse Space for Online Store Inventory:
As always, we continue to offer shipping and fulfillment for online stores, so we’ve got space to house all of that inventory for our clients.
Plans for Future Expansion:
We’re already working on a possible expansion to add an additional 3000 square feet to our warehouse and production space!
