Orders for screen print and embroidery that are done in house have a normal production time of 10 working days or less. Production time for Rush and In-Hands-Date orders are taken on a case by case basis. Items such as hard goods that are imprinted by suppliers are subject to each supplier’s production time but many suppliers have rush and 24 hour service on select products.

In most cases when presented with exact art in the formats requested there is no charge for artwork. Minor changes to your art are often made at no charge, however, all art changes and creative art ideas should be sent to your account executive to determine actual pricing.

Art for an order should be in eps, ai or vector pdf formats. All text must be outlined and all images in the file embedded.

All orders will receive virtual proofs prior to production. This proof must be approved before production begins .

Although our technical minimum is 12 pieces, it is not cost effective to print 12 shirts. Your best bet is to start at 24 pieces.

If you need very detailed art, JDA will give you a quote for art services. If it is typeset, JDA will do that at no charge for orders already place and in-house. Please send your art request to your account executive and they can assess how to best serve you.

A digitized tape is a file that lets our embroidery machines know how to sew your logo. Most tapes cost $30. Orders for embroidery tapes receive a sew-out and virtual proof for approval. After your logo is on file, you only pay to embroider the garment. Some additional costs may be incurred if the logo has very intricate details. Please send your logo to your account executive for a quote.

Once you have a digitized tape, we can embroider your logo on any item. The cost of embroidery is included in the cost of the item, so the price is dependent on the product and the quantity.

JDA does not embroider any product that is not purchased at JDA. Please contact your account executive with additional questions.

A setup charge is a fee applied to your order to create a screen, die or other imprint method in order to print your logo. This is not an art charge but a charge that varies by supplier and type of imprint.

The majority of hard good vendors for promotional products have a 10% over/under run to compensate for imperfections or breakage during shipping. An exact run may or may not be possible so this over/under run clause is added to all hard good orders. If you must have an exact quantity please notify your account executive when placing your order.

JDA Promo is a distributor of apparel and hard goods. We do not maintain blank inventory product – all orders are custom orders. When you place an order with JDA Promo the product is ordered from a vendor who ships it to JDA. Those are the shipping costs applied to your order.
