June is National Safety Month, so we asked some of our veteran sales staffers to share some of their best new ideas for safety recognition gifts. They chimed in with budget-friendly options that will work for a variety of safety initiatives! (To learn more about our safety programs, click here.)
#1: Coleman Quad Lantern
If you need a premium gift, look no further than this Coleman LED Quad Lantern. Use it as one super bright lantern (190 lumens) or 4 individual area lights . The four detachable panels recharge from the base, and the lantern boasts an impressive 75 hours of run time! Each individual panel, when detached, will last about 1.5 hours. (Just a heads up: Expect to pay a few extra bucks over retail if you want to add your logo.)
#2: High Visibility Backpack
More than one of our reps recommended this safety green hi-viz backpack, which features silver reflective strips, mesh side pockets, and a front mesh pocket that holds a hard hat. This item makes a great addition to your safety program because there are no minimum order quantities, and it looks great with an embroidered logo. (Bonus: We can add names or initials too!) 
#3: 5 Piece BBQ Ninja
The swiss army knife of grilling captured everyone’s attention at our product showcase, and it popped up again when we started talking about safety recognition gifts. We love the convenience of having everything you need for a backyard bbq right at your fingertips. It includes a spatula, fork, brush, bottle opener and cork screw…all in a convenient carrying case. At less than $30, the price is spot on for most safety programs! 
#4: COB Pop-Up Lantern
This affordable pop-up lantern features the latest in lighting technology: “Chip on Board” lighting strips, also known as COB. What does this mean for consumers? Now you can get a lot more light for less money. For example: The Coleman Quad Lantern with LED puts out 190 lumens of light, while this pop-up lantern cranks out 230 lumens for an even brighter light! (Additional Options: We also like this COB lantern which comes in a few more colors and is a bit more heavy duty.) 
#5: Emergency Hammer
The emergency hammer gets rave reviews in client meetings because of the great price point (under $5) and the practical application. It features a bright LED flashlight, window hammer, seat belt cutter and a magnet on the back so you can attach it to any metal panels in the the car (or in the glove compartment.)
#6: Water Bottle with Safety Helmet
If you’re hosting a family-friendly event, these 20 oz bike bottles make a great gift for the kids. The large imprint area gives you plenty of room to reinforce your safety message, and the safety helmet tops make for a fun themed giveaway! 
#7: Hard Hat Pens
Bring a smile to someone’s face with this ballpoint pen that features a smiling figurine wearing a hard hat. (People really seem to like these moptopper pens and products, so why not bring some fun to safety, too?) For under $1, this works really well for safety-related tradeshows and events.
