Looking to drive more traffic to your trade show booth without busting your budget? You’re not alone. We all want to stand out from the booth next door, but we don’t want to spend a fortune doing it. We met with some of our top suppliers and pulled together some fresh ideas to help you. Take a look at some of the best new trade show giveaways for under $5, and get ready to generate more leads than ever at your next event!
Before you remind me that everybody does pens, hear me out: People give away pens because they are inexpensive and get you thousands of impressions for pennies on the dollar. The moral of the story? Don’t abandon the tried and true altogether; just do it better.
Soft Touch Pen: This pen features a soft, rubberized finish and full color printing to really make your logo pop! You can even do a 4 color process or domed message on the clip to really maximize your branding.
Fidget Spinner Highlighter: Yes, fidget spinners still seem to be a thing, and we loved this version with three different highlighters. You can even order these with a full color custom box for less than $5! (The box offers a great opportunity to incorporate product information or promo codes!)
MopTopper Spinner Ball Pen: The MopTopper pen collection just got better with the addition of the spinner version. The microfiber hair makes it practical for cleaning your smartphone screen, but the spinner makes it just plain fun!
Flashlights & Roadside Safety:
Most of us would agree that it never hurts to be prepared. Safety items tend to go over really well at trade shows, so we searched for the best deals to help you stay on budget.
COB Work Light with Silicone Loop: This aluminum flashlight features the new COB (chip on board) technology. COB lights tend to be really bright, and we were impressed by this one!
Emergency Hammer: This multi-function tool includes a flashlight, seat belt cutter & emergency hammer, with a magnetic back for easy storage inside your vehicle.
Emergency Power Bank: If your phone battery has died and you’re desperate for a partial charge, this little 1200 mAh power bank will do the trick. For less than $5, you can get about a 60% charge on your phone.
Notebooks & Sticky Notes:
Despite the digital age in which we live, people still like taking notes with pen and paper. When you’re choosing trade show giveaways, think about things people can use right away at the show, as well as when they get back to the office.
Pocket-Size Stretch Notebook: This little notebook clocks in at 4″x 5.5″, which is perfect for carrying in bag or pocket at a show. The notebook includes a pen and sticky notes for flagging catalog pages or other printed collateral.
Three Message Sticky Pad Set: Three tabbed sticky note pads come packaged in a box with optional full color printing on the box.
At our Spring Product Showcase, we gathered feedback from our clients on the products that interested them the most. Some of the same items came up in conversation over and over again, so we decided to include them here. (If people at our shows rave over something, that’s usually a sign that you’ve found a good show giveaway.)
Trash Away Auto Can: This trash can fits conveniently into most cupholders, and makes it easy to keep your car clean while you’re on the go. (It also happens to fit nicely into the cupholder of my toddler’s car seat; just sayin’.)
Crazy Long Cable: It works like a 6′ extension cord for the USB cable that you use to charge your smartphone, tablet or digital camera. This could REALLY come in handy at trade shows, where everyone is looking for a plug to charge their device, and you might not get the luxury of sitting right next to an outlet. I can think of so many times I could have used this while traveling!
Braided Long Cable: Upgrade your crazy long cable to the braided version for less than $1 more. (It works exactly the same as the crazy long cable, but the braided version is a bit more durable and looks like what you would buy at retail.)
